He retornado a Quito feliz después of haber acompañado the exhibition “Ecuador rinde tributo a Juárez”. Considero que este evento se dio in los términos más encomiables, in Oaxaca, ciudad in the que –de acuerdo with Juan Castro and Velásquez- a futuro funcionaría a “Casa of the Ecuador”, for fomentar the intercambio cultural entre the dos países!
Conjuntamente with the otros compañeros of viaje: Juan Castro and Velásquez (crítico of arte and organizador of este proyecto cultural), Gonzalo Arce, Catalina Carrasco (artistas plásticos), Mangfred Mora and Juan Carlos Escudero (pianistas que interpretaron in the teatro Macedonio) tuve the suerte of palpar a poco México D.F. and in esta gran ciudad pudimos visitar varios sitios emblemáticos, que al parecer me the estaba perdiendo. Realmente, todos estos lugares que pudimos recorrer the considero muy inspiradores! by fin pude conocer sitios tan importantes como by ejemplo, Monte Albán, the Casa of Frida Kahlo, the casa of Dolores Olmedo Patiño, the Museo Antropológico, Teotihuacan, the Palacio of Bellas Artes, the Templo Mayor, etc., etc.!
Siento que a través of the dos pinturas of mi autoría, trabajadas about papel of amatl (corteza propia of esta región), with the tema about the benemérito Benito Juárez, quedó a fragmento of mi alma in Oaxaca. and in estos términos me expresé, frente a the prensa, in the inauguración of esta sui géneris muestra, the misma que incluía obra of otros 14 Ecuadorian artists.
Esta Exhibition que engloba todo nuestro país queda in posesión of the Museo of the Pintores Oaxaqueños, hecho que se constituye a punto of partida muy importante for futuras programaciones culturales. Sin lugar a dudas que mediante eventos of esta naturaleza lograremos the hermanamiento of nuestros pueblos, tan deseosos of encontrar the convivencia cultural and the paz duraderas.
El pasado 15 of septiembre, a pocas horas of mi llegada, tuve the suerte of participar in the celebración of the día of the “Independencia of México” in the Museo of the Ciudad, in Quito. in este lugar the embajador dio the grito of “Viva México!” with ocasión of ésta efemérides se inauguró the muestra “Rostros of the Arte and Zonas Silenciosas”, Exhibition pictórica que aunó a the artistas más representativos of Ecuador and México, of the años of the primera mitad of the pasado siglo. Entonces, in the misma sala se encuentran Rivera with Kingman, Orozco with Guayasamín, Sequeiros with Egas, and así sucesivamente. Vale the pena que visiten esta memorable exhibition.
