LAS VISIONES of MIGUEL BETANCOURT

La producción artística of Miguel Betancourt, in the últimos veinte años, se desarrolla bajo the signo of the modernidad; the pintor ha captado the señal of the tiempos, and formula his discurso plástico with a lenguaje contemporáneo, pero in términos muy personales, cargados of audacia imaginativa.
Mas his camino no es lineal, no responde a a cronológica determinada, sino a the circunstancias que vive the artista, in his entorno, influido a his vez by the ritmo of the mundo. in Betancourt, the hecho creativo es a práctica constante, que se halla in his cotidianeidad, and que comprende también the lectura, the investigación, the experimentación with a temática que ha venido ejercitando sabiamente for perfeccionarla, dándole a incuestionable toque of originalidad: the arquitectura urbana, estilizada, adecuada a a estilo; the naturaleza and his diversidad, in composiciones ingeniosamente equilibradas and with his elementos dispuestos with gracia in the espacio of the cuadro. in his serie Figuras and árboles, se produce a fantasiosa alianza entre lo vegetal and lo humano; así como in Rostros and figuras about lienzo cáñamo, diversos personajes aparecen in the escenario of the cuadro, of modo manifiesto or disimulados entre the caprichos of a dibujo aparentemente arbitrario, pero que obedece a a práctica and a disciplina of mucho tiempo.

Esa tención crea a dimensión estética novedosa, que nos obliga a adaptar the mirada a the oferta visual of the cuadro.
