BEIJING – The exhibition “Lines and Transparencies”, inaugurated in March 2017 at the prestigious Capital Library of Beijing, represented one of the most prominent cultural milestones of Ecuadorian art on the Asian continent. Jointly organized by the Embassy of Ecuador in China and the Chinese Ministry of Culture, the show gathered a carefully curated selection of artworks showcasing Miguel Betancourt’s technical mastery and poetic language.

Thanks to the interest sparked across various museum institutions, an exhibition tour was planned to key cities such as Nanjing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. Likewise, the presence of the artwork in Asia extended to South Korea, consolidating the artist’s international profile.
